A new floating kayak dock and gangway on the Mispillion River, is located along the Riverwalk close to the heart of downtown. This prime location will give kayakers, canoers, and paddle boarders another entry and exit point on the river. The project cost approximately $100,000 with a grant of $72,000 from Senator Gary Simpson, a grant of $17,500 from DNREC’s Environmental Project Fund, and the balance from the City of Milford. Landscape Architectural Services, LLC has been integral in various Mispillion Greenway projects. Baker, Ingram & Associates provided the structural engineering services.
