The new Delaware State Police Troop 7 is a single story, 25,300 square foot Administration Building that was designed as an “Essential Facility” which is intended to remain operational during an extreme weather or seismic event. The facility includes offices, training rooms, locker/shower facilities, evidence rooms, holding areas, a public community room, a sally port and two vehicular processing bays. The steel-framed structure with partial concrete masonry bearing wall construction, features an eye-catching entry with exposed structural steel. In addition, the project includes a stand-alone 7,300 square remote maintenance/evidence storage pre engineered metal building.
