The new Dover Campus houses two business subsidiaries; Chesapeake Utilities and Eastern Shore Natural Gas. These two businesses previously occupied multiple buildings and physical locations. The Company’s operations are now greatly improved by centralizing the operations at a facility with sustainable, purpose-built and efficient design. The campus includes three new buildings; a 59,000-sf, two-story steel-framed office building split into two wings to house both businesses, a 10,000-sf, steel-framed vehicle shade canopy and a 33,000-sf pre-engineered warehouse including a Wellness Center. Baker, Ingram & Associates was responsible for structural design, construction documentation, and construction administration Services.
